Kuala Lumpur Nightlife

The city centre of Kuala Lumpur, along with some choice urban spots, lights up with excitement at night as crowds of youngsters, revellers and yuppies frequent clubs, bars and pubs on the streets.

The hive of activity usually begins from 10 pm onwards though some nightspots open earlier. Karaoke is another popular activity, usually among Chinese who just love to bellow or croon oldies and contemporary pop music from Hong Kong, regardless of the breaking windows!

One of the main roads in the KLCC area which connects straight to the Petronas Twin Towers, Jalan Ampang is a green, shady stretch of road on which plenty of exciting nightlife options are located. The trendy boutique hotel, Hotel Maya, is also located along this road, just a few minutes’ walk to Suria KLCC and the twin towers. A perfect starting point for those wishing to explore the heart of Malaysia’s capital city, Jalan Ampang is also supported by a good network of public transportation.

Looks good! The last time I spent time at luxury hotels Kuala Lumpur and after a hectic day of touring was too fatigued for the nightlife. Also the hotel had an excellent bar and dining facility with a fabulous view so I did not want to go out again.
